Bass Drop: Turning a can into a full-blown banger.

Brewpoint came to Stratos where I was Head of Creative with a brief and a single can design. They'd recently launched a bold 4.0% peach lager with summer written all over it — what they needed was everything else."With just a single can design to start from, I helped build a full brand universe to launch Bass Drop into beer gardens, DJ sets and the hands of every vibe-first drinker in Bedford and beyond.

I thoroughly developed the tone of voice, extended the visual identity into a detailed brand guideline and designed launch assets that made the brand feel as big as the flavour, with the help from Sam (an augmented reality designer), we created an immersive AR beer mat, alongside cool boxes, POS and event collateral.

It all came together at a high-energy launch event packed with free drops, live DJs and a few cold pours in the sun. A lager built for the moment, and a brand that lives loud.

The can design didn’t stay in its lane. It scaled up—onto a branded cool box built for festivals, gigs, and anything else involving wristbands and questionable decisions. The brief? Make the logo loud. Front and centre. Seen from across a field and etched into memory by Monday.

The live event brought Bass Drop’s personality to life: loud, unfiltered and brewed in Bedford. Hosted at Brewpoint’s brewery, the day was a mix of music, DJ sets, biker jackets, beer games and one surprisingly versatile AR beer mat. Turns out, the logo played well on taps, tables, and anywhere else it landed. By sundown, it wasn’t just branding, it was a full-blown character.
